It is week 8/ Reveal day of the One Room Challenge and I can’t believe how fast the time has gone! We’ve been through many delays and product changes, but I’m thrilled to have been able to complete my space in time for the reveal!

BEFORE

This luxe light fixture that was gifted by Alora Lighting was the perfect finishing touch to the space. It also perfectly ties the entire room together!

AFTER

The Calico Corners Fan Pleated drapes stole the show!

The Calico Corner drapery look amazing in my space, I don’t think I could’ve picked a better option. #gifted When I ordered them, I was very strategic about the width so that the brick wall would peek through and add another layer of texture and dimension to my space. -Job well done!

As you see, these are not the CB2 nightstands from the previous ORC blog post because they wouldn’t arrive in time, so I went with this pair from West Elm. They go perfectly with the sconces I chose for the space and brought much-needed warmth to the space. I know, I didn’t share them before this post, but a little surprise here and there won’t hurt. LOL

Can we get into this amazing artwork moment in this corner? The gifted Minted artwork by Jennifer Daily was just right for my space above the bed and the custom light oak floater frames were the perfect choice to make the artwork pop and ties in the nightstands perfectly.

Thanks to this lovely bench, we now have a comfortable spot to relax and watch TV without sitting in bed. If I sit in bed and try to watch TV, my brain would correlate sitting in bed with going to sleep and I’d be lucky to get past the first 30 minutes of any movie! -But that problem has been solved!

What TV you ask? I didn’t share the other side of the room with the dressers and TV because that area is still in progress. We plan to get new dressers and a new TV because the current TV is a bit dated and isn’t so flat! LOL -I would love to do the Samsung Frame TV but hopefully we find a good deal on one soon. But of course, I’ll share that update with you when it happens.
